Getting Late (Floetry inspired)

As I feel your breath on my neck I internally lose my mind.

I am feeling feelings that I've never felt before.

Your voice in my ear sounds like a song with just lyrics.

I am overwhelmed by the pace my heart is racing...

I don't know if this is love or just an illusion for this moment.

But I am secretly hoping that it lasts forever.

As I slowly reach for your hands my nerves have me shaking.

Yet as I feel your touch I become completely at home.

I am overjoyed yet scared...

I think to myself... "Please don't let me go"

I'm losing myself and becoming one with you...

Your eyes are sending me back to Venus...

I am willing to give you every part of me yet fearful of the consequences...

So I quietly tell you....

Baby... It's getting late...
